Normally, there would be a clear-cut small number of teams that seem to be the “Super Bowl favorites” after the first six weeks in an NFL season. In this case, 2021 is proving that anything is possible, even in the National Football League. As the weeks pass, the excitement increases with each game. As always, our #ProTops are in the middle of the madness. Let’s take it back to how Week Six impacted the league.

On Thursday night, Deon Yelder was activated to the 53 man roster for the Buccaneers.

He was at the tight end position during the Thursday Night Football matchup against the Eagles. He played three snaps during the Bucs’ 28–22 win in Philadelphia.

Moving on to Sunday:

George Fant & Mike White were on a bye week for the Jets. They’re currently 1–4 on the year at third place for the AFC East.

Jack Doyle and the Colts came back to Lucas Oil Stadium for a division battle with the Texans. After a trying Week 5 game in Baltimore where Doyle was involved in a confrontation with Ravens cornerback Tavon Young, he found himself facing a $10,815 fine. Young was flagged following the scuffle which, caused the retaliation from Doyle.

Doyle did not receive any receptions in the 31–3 win over the Texans. They’re in second place behind the Titans in the AFC South. Elsewhere, Capt. Jack has been keeping busy in the Indianapolis community. Monday evening, the Jack Doyle All-Star Bowl was attended by him and his teammates as a way to bring awareness to end homelessness.

The Rams traveled to New York to face the Giants. Tyler Higbee caught five receptions for 36 yards in the 38–11 rout. After Sunday’s win, they’re in second place in the NFC West behind the undefeated Cardinals.

The Bears lost 24–14 to their biggest division rivals, the Packers. Joel Iyiegbuniwe played 18 snap counts on special teams, his most on the 2021 season. He still has one solo tackle of the year, coming from his appearance in the Week 3 loss to the Browns.

Stay tuned for more updates as the season progresses.
